I would like to thank you for your interest in my services. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I have been caring for children in some form since I was about 13 years old (babysitting, church nursery, and children’s church for many years ).I have 5 children and 1 grand child. Several years ago I had a home daycare that I really enjoyed but we decided to move to the country so I had to leave all of this behind. I have really missed having my daycare so the family and I decided it would be a good thing to move back to town and start our daycare back up again. So, I have 5 years experience working my own childcare business not to mention the untold amount of time I have volunteered in my home church.
My husband of 15 years is very supportive of my work with children and loves children just as much as I, as well do our 2 teenage daughters. My daughters and husband will also be around to help me supervise the children in the late afternoons as well. We are a family and our family daycare will still function as a family but with an added plus. What is the plus? We know the needs your child and you have because we are parents too. We know you are concerned about them feeling wanted and included and not just another number on the roster. We also understand your child's educational needs and will do many activities through out the day to help your child grow into a well rounded person.

I personally believe in effective methods of nurturing positive growth and development in children, proper nutrition for children, and craft ideas. I correspond regularly with other providers in our area and other areas to ensure that I am up to date on the best and safest practices in early childhood development. I have chosen to care for children because I enjoy watching them learn and grow. It is wonderful to see how well children respond to a supportive, loving environment. I know that by teaching young children I am making a long-term contribution to the people they will become. The approach I use is for the development of the whole child. My monthly activity plan includes arts & crafts, music & movement, creative play, group activities, games, science & discovery, and a suggested reading list.
In addition, I have both indoor and outdoor toys and equipment available for play. Indoors there are a variety of art materials, blocks, books, dramatic play, cars, computer games, etc. My backyard is fully fenced and equipped with several ride-on toys, balls, and other safe equipment.
I appreciate your taking the time to visit with me so you can make an informed decision for the care of your child(ren). If you have any further questions, or if you are interested in placing your child(ren) in my care, please contact me. I look forward to hearing from you.
